Page Top Banners
A Page Top Banner Advertisement is a banner containing the banner owner’s slogan and sometimes their logo, which runs across the top of its designated page. If clicked it directs the customer through to the associated website (if applicable). The system enables the sound track, which some banners may have, to play or be switched off by the Directory user.If there is no associated website, a page top Banner will direct the user to the relevant listing, so that they can find out more information, and make contact if desired.
The page top Banners run across the page and rotate every twenty seconds (three times a minute or one hundred and eighty times an hour). The page top can accommodate 1 full or 2 half banners on each rotation.
Specifications for the full page top Banner:
- Dimensions: 468 x 60 pixels
- File Size Maximum: 102kb
- File Format: GIF, PNG, JPEG or SWF
Specifications for the page top half banner:
- Dimensions: 232 x 60 px
- File Size Maximum: 51kb
- File Format: GIF, PNG, JPEG or SWF
Banners can also be provided for your Directory’s own promotions, e.g. seasonal promotions such as Halloween. In such an instance, when the user clicks on the Banner all of your customers within the categories you have linked to the Banner will be listed as if the user has performed a search. Banners can be sourced via ourselves, if required. This service is provided for you at an additional cost which will depend on your or your customer’s requirements and the amount of work required.
